James 2:1-17
Don't hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory with partiality, favoring the rich above the poor. What good is it, my brothers, if a man says he has faith, but has no works? Faith, if it has no works, is dead.

Be doers of the word, and not only hearers. Pure religion is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
Let brotherly love continue. Don't forget to show hospitality to strangers, for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it (Gen. 18:1-15). Don't forget to be doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Receiving a Kingdom that can't be shaken, let us have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.
Surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith.
Faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen. Abraham, Sarah and others died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them and embraced them from afar..
Where remission of sin is, there is no more offering for sin. Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus.

God didn't cherish animal sacrifices, but instead cherished obedience to his will.
Christ hasn't entered into holy places made with hands, which are representations of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us.
