Deuteronomy 4:1-2, 6-9
Now, Israel, listen to the statutes and to the ordinances, which I teach you, to do them; that you may live, and go in and possess the land which Yahweh, the God of your fathers, gives you.

Aaron said, "Don't let the anger of my lord grow hot. You know the people, that they are set on evil. They said, 'Make us gods, which shall go before us; as for Moses, we don't know what has become of him.'"
Abraham asked God, "Will you consume the righteous with the wicked? What if there are fifty righteous within the city? Be it far from you to kill the righteous with the wicked. May that be far from you. Shouldn't the Judge of all the earth do right?"
The people brought the golden rings to Aaron. He fashioned them with an engraving tool, and made a molten calf; and they said, "These are your gods, Israel, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt."
Moses went up on the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain. Moses entered into the midst of the cloud, and went up on the mountain; and Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
Abraham showed great hospitality to three men (who were messengers of God). They told him that Sarah would conceive a son, even thought they were both old. Sarah laughed.
God told Abram, "I will establish my covenant between me and you and your seed after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your seed after you."
The giving of the Ten Commandments.
Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and set before them all these words which Yahweh commanded him. All the people answered together, and said, "All that Yahweh has spoken we will do."
Abraham said about Sarah his wife, "She is my sister." Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah. But God came to Abimelech in a dream, and said, "Behold, you are a dead man, because the woman whom you have taken is a man's wife."
