ELIZABETH (LIZ) GENTIL is lucky to live in the beautiful Cheshire countryside in England with her husband and several chickens, geese and bees. Tony and Liz are interested in fruit growing and serve as consultants to various organisations in England and Wales on orchards.
Liz is a lay reader in the local benefice (three village churches) in an all female ministry team of four (two clergy and two readers) and also is the Bishop’s Advisor on Environmental Issues. She spends some time visiting other parishes to discuss the Christian response to socio-environmental issues and to help them take positive action. Liz also has responsibility for a healing ministry in the benefice and for compiling the monthly prayer leaflet.
