Hear my teaching, my people. I will utter dark sayings of old, which our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from our children, telling to the generation to come the praises of Yahweh, his strength, and his wondrous works.

My soul rests in God alone. My salvation is from him. He is my rock and my salvation—I will never be shaken. Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us.

The Mighty One, God, Yahweh, speaks, and calls the earth from sunrise to sunset. Out of Zion, God shines forth. He calls to the heavens, "Gather my saints together to me." The heavens shall declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge.

In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Let me never be disappointed. Deliver me in your righteousness. Have mercy on me, Yahweh, for I am in distress. But I trust in you, Yahweh. I said, "You are my God." My times are in your hand.

Ascribe to Yahweh, you sons of the mighty, ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength. Yahweh will give strength to his people. Yahweh will bless his people with peace.

Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth! Sing to the glory of his name! Offer glory and praise! Tell God, "How awesome are your deeds!

Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to Yahweh's law. Blessed are those who keep his statutes, who seek him with their whole heart.

See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, like the dew of Hermon, that comes down on the hills of Zion.

I will bow down toward your holy temple, and give thanks to your Name for your loving kindness and for your truth. In the day that I called, you answered me. You encouraged me with strength in my soul.

Yahweh preserves all those who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy. My mouth will speak the praise of Yahweh. Let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever.
